Prepare for intense 1/4 mile drag racing featuring flat-four VW dragsters reaching speeds of up to 200 mph. This class emphasizes heads-up, dial-in competition, focusing on precise reaction times, maintaining target elapsed times, and maximum speed. Xtreme Flat 4
7-second of VW madness! These Methanol-fueled cars push the edge with explosive launches, insane speeds, and side-by-side action. ALL NHRA SAFETY RULES, CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES APPLY. Approved engine and transmission oil containment system required. Rear mounted, air-cooled, flat 4 power only. Any fuel except nitromethane. Power adders allowed. Door cars and buggies only. Pan or chassis cars allowed. No minimum weights. Sequential transmissions allowed. No tire size limits. ¼ mile.

94 Bore
Built around the Iconic 94mm piston size, this class features turbocharged, high-performance Flat-4 engines built for one purpose: going all out in the quarter-mile. ALL NHRA SAFETY RULES, CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES APPLY. Approved engine and transmission oil containment system required. Door cars and buggies only. Rear mounted, air-cooled flat 4 power only. 94mm bore max. Intercooler allowed on fuel injected only. Nitrous allowed on drawthrough only. Pan or chassis cars allowed. Winner engine inspection mandatory. 1/8 mile or 1/4 mile based on group consensus.

Pro Stock
The ultimate Heads-Up VW Drag Racing. Pro Stock class features naturally aspirated All-Motor Volkswagens that launch at 10,000 RPM. This class highlights the highest level of driver skill, chassis setup, and horsepower. ALL NHRA SAFETY RULES, CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES APPLY. Approved Engine and transmission oil containment system required. Current ECPRA/TXPRA rules enforced. Winner engine inspection. 1/8 mile.

Super Stock VX
Classic air-cooled VW performance meets serious speed. These small-displacement, high-revving machines pack big horsepower, delivering side-by-side, adrenaline-pumping runs. ALL NHRA SAFETY RULES, CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES APPLY. Approved engine and transmission oil containment system required. Current NHRA SS/VX rules enforced. 1/8 mile. Winner engine inspection.

Bracket Racing
Groups 1–4:
Get ready to dial in and race to win in Bracket Racing Groups 1 through 4. The focus here is on consistency and precision rather than sheer speed—you need to hit your dial-in time to succeed. Winning your group will earn you the chance to compete against the top racers from the other groups for the prestigious title of Overall Bracket Champion and some serious bragging rights. ALL NHRA SAFETY RULES, CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES APPLY. Approved engine and transmission oil containment system required. Vehicles must either have a VW body with an alternative engine or a VW engine with an alternative body. No electronic devices such as delay boxes or throttle stops are allowed. The competition will use the Sportsman Tree (TruSTART) format over a quarter-mile track. Your ticket grants entry into a Bracket Racing Group, assigns your lane for the entire day, and includes entry for both car and driver as well as a Tech Card.
Powder Puff
Powder Puff is an all-female, air-cooled, flat-four bracket racing class where skill and consistency determine the winner on the quarter-mile strip. These women racers compete using a sportsman tree, delivering exciting side-by-side runs. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced racer, this class is about women owning the track and enjoying the thrill of competition. ALL NHRA SAFETY RULES, CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES APPLY. Approved engine and transmission oil containment system required.
This ticket assigns your “Powder Puff" lane for the entire day of competition and includes entry for car and driver, plus a Tech card.
A - Modified Compact
A - Modified Compact is a heads-up drag racing category (1/8 Mile) for naturally aspirated, air-cooled, flat-4, VW street cars. Vehicles must maintain their full-body appearance and have valid State Vehicle Registration. This class highlights grassroots VW drag racing, focusing on street-driven cars with performance enhancements. If your car is street-legal and built to run fast, this is the place to compete! ALL NHRA SAFETY RULES, CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES APPLY. Approved engine and transmission oil containment system required.
This ticket assigns your “A-Modified Compact" lane for the entire day of competition and includes entry for car and driver, plus a Tech card.
B - Modified Compact
If you ran Ultimate Street Car, this is the class for you. B - Modified Compact is a heads-up drag racing category (1/4 Mile) for air-cooled VW street cars equipped with power adders such as turbochargers, superchargers, or nitrous oxide (Boosted VW Street Cars). Cars must maintain a full-bodied appearance and have valid State Vehicle Registration. This class embraces the grassroots spirit of VW drag racing, featuring street-driven, performance-tuned vehicles built for speed. If your car is street-legal and delivers strong performance, this is the place to compete. ALL NHRA SAFETY RULES, CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES APPLY. Approved engine and transmission oil containment system required.
This ticket assigns your “B-Modified Compact" lane for the entire day of competition and includes entry for car and driver, plus a Tech card.
Oil Containment System
All race cars must be equipped with an approved oil containment system for both the transmission and the engine. This system must include a 2-inch lip and an absorbent mat.
This rule proved highly effective — during last year’s race, there were zero oil downs, an achievement that’s almost unheard of in VW drag racing. Fewer delays mean more racing, more action, and a better experience for everyone.
